School Visits.

On arrival, the children assemble in front of the museum for the health and safety briefing and then are drafted into groups. Normally each group spends time at all the activities; the actual time depending on the length of the school visit, but activities can be selected by teachers prior to the visit and time is given just to these. Our activities are designed to fit into the school curriculum and relevant to the pioneer museum.

There are toilets available and picnic tables for the children to eat their morning-tea or lunch around.
